kyleigh ky perry

Hello, I'm Ky! I am 21 year old performer located in the DFW, TX area. I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Dance.

A little bit about ME!

I have been dancing for many years, and each year my passion for the art grows more and more. I am fortunate to have received many opportunities to perform from various organizations I have been apart of. In the future, I hope to continue to perform and move out of Texas to continue to pursue dance and theatre.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching Japanese musical theatre, learning Japanese, and cosplaying. I am also a cosplay performer apart of a dance group!

01 in/emotion

For this performance, I was welcomed back to UTA as an alumni to perform a piece that I was an original cast member of back in 2023! In e/motion was restaged as an evening length work and performed in collaboration with the UTA engineering and technology department in a proscenium stage setting.

02 the wizard of oz

My second ballet with Momentum Dance Company! This performance I was lucky to be cast as a Person of Oz and an Apple Tree! This production was so much fun, as the ballet included aspects of jazz, especially in the Oz sections. There were even some sillier aspects in this show, which contrasted the classical ballet that was the Nutcracker. It was an incredible experience!

03 nutcracker

My first Nutcracker! I had the opportunity to perform with Momentum Dance Company located in Irving, Texas this year, and I was fortunate enough to be cast as Party Girl, Seraphim, and Russian Trepak in their 20th anniversary production of the Nutcracker.
This was a fantastic experience, as I had only ever performed in one large scale ballet production before. I am definitely looking forward to performing with MDC again in the future!

04 dance [de]constructed

This Dance [DE]Constructed was my graduating performance at UTA, and I had the opportunity to choreograph alongside one of my best friends, Macy Thiebaud. We choreographed a fusion jazz piece titled A Rose Blooms in Chaos to "Roxanne" from Moulin Rouge and it was such a great opportunity to be able to create something with different levels of dancers and movers. I was also featured in works choreographed by Laurie M. Taylor and Ben Ashcraft.
